This is considered a key project in WFF's development plan and will contribute to promoting the development of Vietnam's food flavor industry.

Realizing that the need to use flavorings in the Vietnamese market is increasingly growing, the company's Board of Directors unanimously decided to invest in building a production factory in Dong Nam Industrial Park, Cu Chi to response to the growing demand for flavorings in the Vietnamese market. This new modern factory, with an area of 3500 m2 on a campus of 5750 m2 according to HACCP and HALAL standards, with a capacity of 200,000 tons/year, producing powdered and liquid flavors, which are used in the food and industrial sectors. With a total project investment capital of 1.5 million USD. The construction and setup are projected to take six months, with the goal of launching operations in February 2019.
The Vietnamese flavor market is valued between 220 to 250 million USD annually, with a growth rate of at least 15 to 20% each year. However, this market is predominantly dominated by large international corporations. The majority of Vietnamese companies engage mainly in the import and resale sector. Some companies that have imported foreign technological know-how only stop at the stage of mixing and diluting flavors.
The number of companies capable of producing flavors and fragrances that meet the specific needs of the Vietnamese market is very limited, as this sector requires significant financial and technological investment.
“Huong Huong Tay's new factory helps us fulfill a long-cherished dream. It allows us to produce authentic Vietnamese flavors right here in Vietnam, created by Vietnamese flavorists," said General Director of Huong Huong Tay Nguyen Thuy Phuong. "Vietnamese cuisine has a very unique flavor that only Vietnamese flavorists can develop the right flavors to suit Vietnamese tastes," Ms. Phuong emphasized.
